Phillips Fuel Systems fuel oil purification system is a self-contained, prepackaged and pre-wired unit specifically designed to purify and filter stored diesel fuel. Preserving the integrity the integrity of the diesel fuel helps ensure trouble-free generator and diesel engine starts and reduces annual maintenance, contaminated fuel disposal and annual reservoir cleaning costs.
Maintaining clean and dry diesel fuel also discourages the growth of algae and bacteria while helping to reduce the need for expensive chemicals and biocide additives.
Unlike all other products on the market, the Phillips Fuel System's diesel fuel purifier removes a majority of the impurities and water first, before the elements, providing longer element life and reducing replacement costs
At the heart of each system is a fuel purifier that is our simple one step unit. It removes a majority of free water, dust, dirt, and other normal and natural contaminants found in all diesel fuel. As the fuel enters the purifier, it flows through an internal baffle system causing the fuel to move in a circular movement. As the fuel is moving, it collides with a deflector plate which separates free water, suspended solids, and contaminates. These impurities accumulate at the bottom and remains there until drained. Only the clean fuel rises to the top, providing a cleaner burn for quicker ignition and better combustion.
Phillips Fuel System's oil purify systems are fully automated with optional tank monitoring capabilities and are capable of servicing multiple tanks.
Each system features:
Pad mountable, weather resistant enclosure, with lockable door, containment basin with leak detection sensor and drain port.
Flow sensor with failure shut down
Inlet strainer with color coded differential pressure gauge and “clean” strainer alarm indication
Gauges on suction and discharge
Positive displacement pump with adjustable internal relief valve and UL listed totally enclosed fan cooled industrial motor. Shut-off valves and flanges are positioned so the pump may be removed for servicing without disturbing piping. Optional explosion proof motors or systems without pumps are also available.
Simple one step unit fuel purifier with water detection sensor that removes 98% of the free water and down to 5 microns of dust, dirt, and other normal and natural contaminants found in all diesel fuel. Optional water absorption and polishing filters are available for additional reduction.
Able to run manually or fully automatic operation with adjustable 7 day timer system
UL listed control panel, shipped loose for mounting in remote locations or system mounted, factory programmer system controller, timer, manual-off-auto illuminated pump mode selector switch, indicating lights, alarms and motor starter with overload protection.

Consistently cleaner fuel helps increase the engine’s dependability, power, and efficiency since even today’s “clean” diesel fuel becomes contaminated all too easily during transportation and storage.
By removing contamination immediately before the fuel enters the engine’s filter system, the purifier delivers cleaner fuel, helping to eliminate filter clogging and therefore greatly extends maintenance intervals.
